Reserve Bank Consultation on new rules for property investors
Reserve Bank has released a consultation document on their proposal to separately classify residential rental property loans from owner occupied residential loans. The NZ Property Investors’ Federation has now examined the consultation document and made a submission on the Reserve Bank’s proposal.

A NZPIF media release responding to the paper by Victoria and Otago Universities urging the use of a 1947 Housing Improvement Regulations which come under the 1956 Health Act in order to force landlords to provide minimum standards until a WOF for rental housing can be introduced.
